Simple economical and tasteful.  Making your own baby food is easier than you think.  Fruits, veggies and meat can be simply prepared by following these five steps.

  • First prep your selection by washing, peeling and chopping your food of choice.

  • Second cook it up.  Whether you prefer to boil it on the stove or use a microwave or steamer you’ll know it’s done when it’s soft enough to mush.

  • Third curare your selection by using a food processor or strain it until the desired consistency.

  • Fourth freeze your food overnight in ice cube trays and transfer frozen cubes to labeled plastic zip lock bags.

  • And fifth serve up your concoction for up to two months all you will need to do is defrost, warm and enjoy.

Fresh Baby (http://www.freshbaby.com) has lots of information on making your own baby food.  It’s filled with great and easy recipes for you to try.
