Are you looking for some fun, fresh baby shower ideas?  It can be tougher and tougher to find that refreshing new idea to use at a baby shower.  If you find yourself looking for new and creative ideas that are not very expensive maybe a few of these fun twists will be just what you’ve been searching for.

You could have a price is right – have a list of baby items that the guests can guess the prices on.  This is fun because sometime older moms are way off.

You could create a holiday theme for your baby shower – assign each guest to a holiday so that their gifts somehow represent that holiday.  Guest can give a baby’s first ornament for Christmas, cross necklace for Easter, things along those lines.

Instruct your guests to save all the baby articles that they find in magazines then compile all of the articles to create a special notebook for the mom-to-be; she will have helpful information on health care, immunizations, decorating baby’s room, baby names and more.

Have a storybook shower – have each guest bring their favorite childhood story as a gift.  Make sure they write a personal note to mom and baby inside the front cover.  This can be fun to go down memory lane together.

Create a time capsule – everyone contribute something special or a current event item to put inside the time capsule.

Have a hickory dickory dock shower – each lady is assigned a time of day and is to give a gift for that time of day.  Morning times could bring things like baby bottles, cereal, a new outfit or play toes.  Evening times could bring pajamas, a bath set, bedtime books or baby blankets.

Have fun with the ideas and use your imagination.  Your baby shower can be special and memorable.  I’m Dionna Sanchez, founder of emphasis on moms.  Come and visit us http://www.emphasisonmoms.com.
