Every new parent must ensure that their baby gets off to a healthy start.  Creating healthy eating habits for your child will ensure that they are stepping off on the right foot when it comes to food.  Starting with babies first foods, follow these ten tips taken from www.freshbaby.com to create healthy habits for your children.

  1. Teach your baby about different fruits and vegetables.

  2. Talk about what you’re baby is eating.  Make mealtimes fun.

  3. Be a role model.  Your baby learns by mimicking you.

  4. Encumbers drinking water.  Offer it at each meal.

  5. Don’t give up.  Your babies taste will change daily.

  6. Your baby needs a balanced diet.  Offer plenty of variety.

  7. Don’t be in a rush at mealtimes.  Relax and enjoy the time.

  8. Eat breakfast, lunch and dinner.

  9. Never force your baby to eat.

  10. Make mealtimes a family event.  Avoid distractions.

Follow these 10 tips and you’ll establish healthy eating habits for your family.  I’m Michelle R. LaRowe, author of Nanny to the Rescue for Baby Talk Radio.  Be sure to visit my site www.michellelarowe.com for your parenting tip of the day.
